Bastiaan Wolfs is a senior program manager with 15 years experience in digital channel development and business transformation.
He has acquired his initial experience in web based knowledge management and moved to digital product & portal development for Vodafone Netherlands’ online portals as a business analyst.
Subsequently employed by Vodafone Ireland as Manager Online Operations & Strategy, he managed a team of twelve FTE permanent staff.
In 2012 he took on the role of Senior manager Online Strategy for Vodafone’s Partner Markets, to share strategic know-how and best practice with Vodafone’s broad range of affiliated providers in over 40 countries across 4 continents.
Currently in the role of Vice President Digital & Omni-channel at Telenor Group where he is responsible for creating the omni-channel strategy with ‘Digital@Core’. In this role he drives Telenor’s digital channel strategy to meet its 200 million customers with contextual marketing and pre-emptive support.
His key strengths are analytical thinking and his problem-solving approach as well as an output & development driven management style for his teams.
Bastiaan has developed a comprehensive methodology to plan for channel consolidation between physical retail outlets, call centres and digital touch points, designed around the self-service apps, web and kiosk capabilities.
His experience in Social Media, eCommerce, eCare and contextual marketing makes him a rounded professional in both digital and physical distribution. He has streamlined several development tracks in the telco industry by an intercultural and multi disciplinary approach to offshoring and outsourcing.
